On 25 April 2009, T-Net Club @ Geylang West, Geylang West Community Club Womens’ Executive Committee, Jalan Besar Community Club Malay Activities Executive Committee and Youth Executive Committee jointly organised the "Egg Painting Competition" held at Geylang West CC Multi Purpose Hall.

This T-Net Club flagship programme was in its third consecutive year. This year's competition attracted 80 participants from different races in total. They competed in five different age categories. Despite the keen competition, the participants displayed the spirit of sportsmanship in helping one another such as exchanging colouring materials and ideas.

Most of the participants came well-prepared with all their necessary tools and some of the final ‘products’ were stunningly creative and attractive! Family members of various ethnic groups were present to encourage and support their participants. The competition also provided a platform to have family bonding for parents and members as well as promote social and community bonding.
